New add-on publishers available for myON
Students deserve to read books that can serve as cultural mirrors. Too often, books feature children who only appear white. Or worse, non-white characters reinforce the stereotypes that fuel institutional racism and inform bigotry.
Students also deserve to read books that feature children learning to be self-aware, to self-regulate, and to problem-solve in ways that are healthy and sustainable.
Finally, students deserve to read books in the language of their ancestors and their first language. Bilingualism should be encouraged and celebrated.
These are three good reasons we’re thrilled to be announcing four new add-on publishers for myON. These new publishers address equity topics, social-emotional learning, and Spanish language.
