Subdomain and skill set scores now available in Star Early Literacy Spanish
See which skills your students are ready to learn and support their growth toward becoming independent readers in English and Spanish.
For K–3 educators already using the Star Early Literacy Diagnostic Report, you’ve depended on this report to help identify which skills, in English, your students know and which skills they are ready to tackle.
Now, K–3 educators can get the same information for skills their students are developing in Spanish, which includes options to view Star Early Literacy State Standards Domains and now, Subdomains and Skills (as shown below).
To help determine which areas to focus on and guide every student towards reading proficiency, simply choose Star Early Literacy Subdomains in the dropdown, and then view the subdomain and skill set scores. This enhancement provides educators—especially those required by their state to screen for early indicators of dyslexia—a way to easily and quickly view and print performance in all early learning subdomains and skills sets for students in their class.
In addition to the Star Early Literacy Diagnostic Report, you can generate the Monitor Student Mastery Dashboard—choosing the Early Literacy tab—to measure mastery of Spanish Early Literacy subdomains. Use this report, available in English or Spanish, periodically throughout the school year to track student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
